After 10 years of persistent efforts to implement solutions to respond to the Decade of Action for Road Safety 2011-20, Việt Nam's road traffic death rate declined from 25.4 per 100,000 people in 2010 to 17.7 per 100,000 people in 2021, down 43.5 per cent, according to World Health Organisation (WHO).
